Chartered Accountancy (CA)
The Chartered Accountancy course is conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, which has its Headquarters in New Delhi. In order to become a member of this Institute, a candidate needs to pass the intermediate and final examinations of the institute as well as register themselves as an articled or audit clerk with a practicing CA.
Chartered Accountants work in all fields of business and finance. Some are engaged in public practice work, others work in the private sector and some are employed by government bodies
Company Secretary (CS)
The Company Secretary (CS) is a professional course which is conducted by The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). To become a Company Secretary, the candidates need to go through the Foundation, Executive and Professional Programme.
A Company Secretary acts as the mediator between the company and its Board of Directors and provides guidance to the Chairman and the Directors on how to make the best use of their responsibilities under various laws.
Cost and Management Accountants (CMA)
A Cost Accountant manages the finance of the company. They collate and analyze financial information from all areas of the organization to bring a balance between the resources and the expenditures of the company. It is conducted by the The Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
It has three levels- Foundation, Intermediate and Final.
